World Neighbors: Globalization Isn't Something To Fear
The world seems more distressing every day, with political upheaval in Venezuela, migrant families trying to make their way from Central America to the U.S. and even talk of war between the U.S. and Iran. All these make it appear that the globe is more dangerous, fearful and hate-filled than ever.
But groups like World Neighbors — which has been around for nearly 70 years — are working to change that perception.
World Neighbors President and CEO Kate Schecter was in the Phoenix metro area this week to speak to the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations. She joined The Show to talk about globalization and the way we perceive it.
