The Arizona Board of Regents officially approved tuition and fee rates for the state’s three public universities last week.

Arizona resident undergrads at Arizona State University are going to see an overall 2.8 percent increase under what’s being called a simplified structure. Figures show that new undergrad resident students at the University of Arizona will pay 1.8 percent more in tuition and fees than current freshmen.

To talk about the overall numbers, The Show reached out to Ron Shoopman, the chair of the Board of Regents.
