Pew: Most Americans Say Race Should Not Be Factor In College Admissions

Most Americans do not think colleges and universities should consider an applicant’s race when determining whether or not they accept that applicant into the school.

That’s among the findings of a new survey from the Pew Research Center.  

These results arrive against the backdrop of a legal case in Boston over the role race plays in admissions policies at Harvard.

Carrie Jung, education reporter at WBUR in Boston has been covering the case, and she joined The Show.
