U.S. foreign policy has seen a dramatic shift in the first couple of years of the Trump Administration — in words and in actions. Longtime allies have been criticized, while sworn adversaries like Russia have cultivated a more complex relationship.

Anne-Marie Slaughter was director of policy planning for the U.S. State Department and is currently CEO of New America. She was at ASU recently to talk about Kosovo and webcraft in the Balkans.
