Several Phoenix Suns Alumni Inducted Into Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame
To understate it, the Phoenix Suns have struggled mightily on the court for nearly a decade — not making the playoffs for eight consecutive seasons. But prior to that, the organization was loaded with star players and impactful front office executives.
That's reflected by the list of Friday’s Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductees in Springfield, Massachusetts. Five of them have very close ties to Suns, including former player Steve Nash and former team president Rick Welts. And those two, in particular, have been impactful on and off the court.
To talk about their accomplishments, Paul Coro, who covered the Suns for 13 years as a reporter for The Arizona Republic, joined The Show.
