As the debate over immigration has focused on families at the border and funding for a wall, Attorney General Jeff Sessions has also been making significant changes to the country’s asylum system — changes that, some say, are making it as difficult as possible for asylum seekers.
To explain what these changes are and what she thinks they mean. The Show spoke to Lynn Marcus, director of the immigration law clinic at the University of Arizona.
She says Trump administration is doing everything in its power to cut off immigration benefits, particularly when it comes to refugees and asylum seekers.
