It looks like a legislative push to chip away at Arizona’s Clean Elections system is continuing.

Since voters approved Clean Elections in 1998, it has been a target of many Republican lawmakers.

A November ballot measure known as Proposition 306 is intended to take away the Citizens Clean Elections Commission’s ability to enact its own rules.

A lawsuit voted on by the commission says voters aren’t going to be told that in the election publicity pamphlet.

Citizens Clean Elections Commission Executive Director Tom Collins joined The Show to provide more details about the proposition.
