A ballot measure is set to be filed next week that would give Arizona voters the chance to decide how much they want to increase the state's renewable energy usage.

But Corporation Commissioner Andy Tobin wants the panel to take its own step. Tobin wants the commission to require 80 percent of electricity generated in Arizona to come from renewable sources by 2050.

Joining The Show to discuss the latest Corporation Commission news is Arizona Republic reporter Ryan Randazzo.
