ASU's Sun Devil Stadium is where the football team plays its games.

There’s a level of excitement around Arizona State University football this week that’s been missing since the last time the team made the Rose Bowl in 1997. 

The Sun Devils are ranked No. 9 in college football’s new playoff system and they’re hosting the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame — currently ranked No. 10.
