One day after the Inspector General’s Office issued a report highly critical of the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix, President Trump signed legislation on Wednesday, paving the way for a major overhaul of the VA and expanding access for veterans to VA-funded health care in the private sector.
