The Phoenix Pride Festival took place over the weekend. Tens of thousands of people came out in support of the city’s LGBTQ community. But, not everyone was celebrating.

For the second year in a row, Trans Queer Pueblo, an advocacy organization for queer and trans people of color, staged a protest at the event. The organization and its allies have called out Phoenix Pride for what they feel is an exclusion of and injustice against undocumented LGBTQ people of color.
