ASU Hosts Clothesline Project To Increase Domestic Violence Awareness

The issue of domestic violence has generated headlines in recent months, primarily because of actions taken by professional athletes and what some would call a lack of action by National Football League executives.

But domestic violence is an everyday occurrence committed by people whose photos won't end up on ESPN or CNN.

ASU’s Tempe campus is playing host to the Clothesline Project to raise awareness.

We spoke with Alesha Durfee about it. Durfee is associate professor and graduate director of Women and Gender Studies at ASU's School of Social Transformation.
