Recently on The Show we spoke about some delays in a project meant to thin Arizona forests to prevent wildfires.

The Four Forest Restoration Initiative, or 4-FRI, is one of the largest forest restoration projects in the country, and now it’s been delayed indefinitely. Federal officials say they need more information.

Diane Vosick is the director of Policy and Partnerships at Northern Arizona University’s Ecological Research Institute. She’s been a rotating co-chair on the initiative, and she joins us now.
