New Phoenix Symphony Music Director On Young People And Orchestral Music

The Phoenix Symphony hired a new music director earlier this year. Tito Munoz has served as assistant conductor for the Cleveland Orchestra and the Aspen Music Festival—among others. And next weekend, he will make his official debut as Phoenix’s maestro with Carmina Burana at Symphony Hall.

We asked Munoz about what makes orchestral music special and how to get young people more passionate about it.
