Citizen initiatives, and how they get on the ballot, has been a big topic of debate at the state Legislature this year.

GOP lawmakers have been trying to change the process — critics say those efforts would make it more difficult, if not impossible, for groups to put measures on the ballot.

And tomorrow, a House committee will hear another bill dealing with this. Joining me to talk about what’s in that measure and its prospects is Howie Fischer of Capitol Media Services.
