Revisiting Phoenix's 'Summer Of Fear'
Ten years ago Tuesday, Mark Goudeau, the notorious "Baseline Killer," was arrested. It was the end of a violent stretch in Phoenix history in which Goudeau terrorized the Valley, killing and sexually assaulting women in broad daylight.
Around the same time, the so-called "Serial Shooter" was driving the city streets, shooting and killing people seemingly at random.
Arizona Republic reporter Michael Kiefer has been covering these notorious Phoenix murderers for the last decade and, now, he’s written a five-part series about it all. The Show’s Lauren Gilger spoke with him about what it was like to report on this "Summer of Fear."
