Teen Driving Restrictions May Not Help Teens As Much As They Could
There are restrictions in place for new drivers who are behind the wheel at night in 49 states, plus DC.
But, new research from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows those restrictions may not be as effective as they could be, based on when they start.
In Arizona, for example, more than half of the fatal night crashes happened before the state’s restrictions take effect, at midnight.
