A lack of corporate headquarters has been a sore subject for a number of years in the Valley. How could the area increase its business diversity without having companies from different industries doing significant hiring here?

One small step in that direction was announced late last week, with the Switzerland-based Kudelski Group deciding to put its North American headquarters in Phoenix.
