Arizona House Speaker David Gowan has asked the state attorney general to investigate his travel expenses.

The issue arose after reporting done by Arizona Capitol Times found a sharp rise in the use of and miles on state vehicles since Gowan became speaker. Hank Stephenson covers the House for the paper and has been doing the digging on this.
