Trying To Bring Navajo Parks Under 1 Umbrella

There is an effort under way on the Navajo Nation to develop a general management plan for its tribal parks, which would bring the Nation’s four parks under one umbrella.
Helen Webster is the park manager at Little Colorado River Tribal Park. Tony Skrelunas is the Native America program director for Grand Canyon Trust. They are both board members of the corporation owned by seven Navajo communities that’s working on the plan.
