One of the most recognizable voices on public radio will be signing off later this year.

Diane Rehm will be leaving her program, but not the public stage. In her new book “On My Own,” she describes the death of her husband, John, and the kind of work she’ll be doing once she leaves the studio. She was in the Valley Thursday on a book tour.
