Microbes Adapt To Heat, Sun By Changing Color

Those who live in the Valley have learned how to adapt to the summer - both the sun’s UV rays and the heat. New research from Arizona State University finds microbes have also adapted to living in this climate.
Ferran Garcia-Pichel is a professor of natural history and the environment at Arizona State University and one of the researchers.
The paper was published in the journal Nature Communications.
