Why Some Valley Residents Open Their Homes To Strangers
Mesa’s Historic Home Tour is Saturday. It’s one of several around the Valley this time of year.
Mesa’s event will include about a dozen homes in three of the city’s historic neighborhoods. One of those homes belongs to Jeanette Hadley. She and her husband live in a two-story craftsman bungalow in the Evergreen district. The house was built in 1919. She’s lived there for more than 30 years.
One of the biggest home tours in the Valley will be in a few weeks in central Phoenix. Darryl Collins is this year’s co-chair of the Willo Home Tour. He’s also had two homes on the tour in the past.
