ASU Professors Speak In Paris At Global Climate Change Summit

Members of the ASU faculty are among those in Paris this week lending their expertise to the global climate change summit.
Dr. Sonja Klinsky is assistant professor at the School of Sustainability. She says Arizona has a lot at stake, both when it comes to the dangers of global warming and the benefits of clean energy production.
“More and more we’re seeing an emphasis on innovation and on green technologies. And Arizona is particularly well placed to be a leader on solar energy. So, Arizona has an opportunity in this space as well as a potential threat,” she said.
Also attending the Paris summit from ASU is Dan Bodansky, an environmental law expert and professor at the school’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. He’s working to ensure the conference succeeds in adopting a legal agreement that all countries can abide by.
