Phoenix Theatre’s season this year will be a bit longer than usual with shows in June and July. That means some of the theater’s apprentices will likely stick around a little longer than normal.

The company brings on apprentices in areas like set design, props and costumes. Josh Lutton, a costume apprentice from Indiana, and Marylou Stephens, Phoenix Theatre’s associate managing director spoke about the program.
