The Desert Botanical Garden has long been popular with both residents and tourists.

The desert lifestyle is a unique one, especially the climate that envelops the area. That leads to plants and flowers that most people from across the country and around the world have never experienced before. That in turn, has helped the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix become a popular destination for tourists and locals.

Later this week, the DBG marks its 75th anniversary with a luncheon celebration. Its Executive Director Ken Schutz discussed the anniversary.
