Gov. Katie Hobbs and Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego spoke at a press conference June 21 highlighting eco-friendly business growth in Arizona.

Hobbs said federal funds tied to infrastructure and inflation reduction will help bring an influx of clean-energy jobs to the state by 2030.

“My message today is this: We are well prepared to continue our economic growth, and we will do so sustainably and responsibly. There is no better time or place to invest in our future than right now in Arizona,” Hobbs said.

The Center for American Progress says Arizona ranks in the top 10 states this year for clean energy projects.
