Artificial intelligence programs like ChatGPT have become a major disruptor in a pretty short amount of time. A lot of people are trying to figure out how to regulate it — or at least keep up with it.

He is a professor in the School for the Future of Innovation in Society at ASU. Next month, he’ll be teaching a new class called Basic Prompt Engineering With ChatGPT: An Introduction.

He spoke with The Show about what led him to think AI was something he should teach.
