Dr. Gladys McGarey never expected to live until 102 years old. But, not only is she still going, the so-called “the mother of holistic medicine” is out with a new book about how she’s done it.
It’s called, "The Well-Lived Life," and in it, she describes the importance not of medicine, but of living with joy, vitality and purpose.
McGarey’s life has been long and winding, beginning with a childhood in India and a chance encounter with Mahatma Gandhi. The Show spoke with McGarey on her life experience.
