Drivers across the Phoenix area are reporting shortages of regular fuel, as gas prices remain higher than normal — and higher than much of the country.

According to our Patrick De Haan, this problem is specific to the Phoenix area and is mainly an issue of demand.

De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at Gas Buddy, joined the The Show to talk about why gasoline consumption is up right now.
