The World Bank predicts economic growth in the United States to be 0.5% this year. The bank says growth in all of the world’s leading economies will slow in 2023. And that’s led to a lot of concern about the potential for a recession.

Economic downturns obviously affect most, if not all areas of life — including college sports.
