One of Arizona’s favorite daughters is award-winning recording artist Linda Ronstadt. She has a new book.

“Feels Like Home” is a joyfully narrated and photographic road trip through the Sonoran desert. The book celebrates her Mexican-American heritage, her family’s history in the region, and also includes recipes.

As part of KJZZ’s latest Word podcast, Tom Maxedon talked to Ronstadt about her memoir.

The book includes a recipe called "Jackie Ronstadt’s Tunapeños."
