A 23-year-old man was given the maximum sentence of 44 years in prison for the May 2020 shooting that injured a woman and two teenagers at the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale.

Armando Hernandez was sentenced Friday.

He pleaded guilty in April to two counts of attempted first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Dozens more charges were dismissed per the plea agreement.
