Arizona Cardinals to be featured on 'Hard Knocks in Season'

Cardinals fans will become familiar with a new voice for football season: that of Liev Schreiber. The actor has narrated HBO’s “Hard Knocks” since 2001. The in-season edition of the show will follow the Cardinals from the middle of the NFL season through the end with nine episodes.
Steve Trout is the senior director of NFL Films.
“Teams that work well on this stage are teams that are transparent, and they’re okay with us showing the true stories in the inside out," Trout said. "A young team, a team with exciting players, with an exciting fan base and has a chance to do some really good things this year. The Cardinals checked off all those boxes.”
Trout described the differences from the show's traditional pre-season setting.
“In season 'Hard Knocks' is all about in season and trying to make the playoffs and trying to make the Super Bowl," he said. "The stakes are higher, and it’s a nine-episode arc instead of a five-episode arc. So you really get to dive deeper into players and coaches.”
The Indianapolis Colts featured in the first season of "Hard Knocks In Season" last year.
This is the second time the Cardinals will be the subject of an in-season documentary, as they were featured in Amazon’s “All or Nothing” series in 2016.
