ASU will be collaborating with three other universities on a new engineering research center.

The National Science Foundation awarded an $18.5 million grant for the Center for Bio-mediated and Bio-inspired Geotechnics.

Ed Kavazanjian is an engineering professor at ASU and will direct the new center.
