Birding is the art of spotting and identifying an array of bird species as they migrate and nest in the area. And it turns out, Arizonans live in a very good part of the world for birding, and this is one of the best times of year to get out there and find a painted bunting.

If you don't know what that is, Jennie MacFarland can explain.

MacFarland is a bird conservation biologist with the Tucson Audubon Society.

The Show spoke with her to learn all about birding in Arizona, and how you can get involved.
