About a third of likely voters in the Republican primary are undecided on Arizona’s race for governor and nearly half are undecided on the U.S. Senate race, according to a new poll.

Mike Noble is the chief of research at OH Predictive Insights, which released the survey of 500 likely Republican voters last week.

“Kari Lake is currently in first position with 29% support, yet Karrin Taylor-Robson is hot on her heels with 22% support. In a distant third sits Matt Salmon at 11%, while Gaynor continues to struggle for an electoral pulse with only 3 % support," Noble said of the gubernatorial race.

He says with so many voters still on the fence, each candidate has work to do to remain in the competition.

"Salmon needs to figure out how to gain some momentum, Lake needs to figure out a way to increase her base of support, Robson needs to not run out of money, and Gaynor needs to do something, anything to stave off irrelevancy," said Noble.

Noble says the Senate race is also competitive. He says Attorney General Mark Brnovich has a slight lead over Jim Lamon.

"However, a lot can happen from now to election day with 44% of voters currently still undecided in this race," he said.

"The biggest vote share goes to voters who are undecided. These aspiring candidates should focus on raising money and getting in front of as many voters as they can from now until election day if they hope to be victorious come August," Noble said.
