ASU backers working on more ways for athletes to profit from NIL deals

Under the new NIL rules, ASU quarterback Jayden Daniels announced a partnership with Jones Auto Group by showing off his Ford Mustang on Twitter.

Student-athletes at Arizona State University may soon have another way to earn money off of their name, image and likeness (NIL).

Last year, the NCAA came up with a policy to allow for this; that followed a U.S. Supreme Court ruling on the issue.

Doug Haller covers college sports, focusing on ASU for the Athletic.

The Show spoke with him to learn about what a group of athletic backers and alumni is doing.
