Educational inequities have become even more obvious over the course of the past two years as the pandemic has continued. Among other things, some students simply don’t have the technological access that many of their peers do — including inconsistent internet connections.

We now may see that affect students’ efforts to have opportunities in higher education, as the College Board has decided to move the SAT online in the U.S. in 2024.
