Former U.S. Surgeon General Tailoring Vaccine Message To Arizona's Diverse Communities

Gov. Doug Ducey reiterated Aug. 31 that he won’t move to make changes that would allow public schools in Arizona to implement mask mandates, as COVID-19 cases continue to cause concerns.
Ducey did, though, stress the need for more Arizonans to get vaccinated.
That’s a prime reason former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Richard Carmona has been brought on board as a senior advisor to the governor on emergency health preparedness.
The Show spoke with him to hear his take on getting more people vaccinated.
