The Arizona Coyotes will be looking for a new home after this upcoming season.

That’s because the city of Glendale chose not to renew the operating agreement beyond the 2021-22 season, which means the team will no longer play at Gila River Arena.

But where will they play, not just after this season, but beyond that?

Katie Strang, senior investigative writer for the Athletic, has written about this and how we got here. The Show spoke with her to learn how much the situation between Glendale and the Coyotes comes down to economic factors, and how much of it was just that the relationship between the two entities couldn’t continue.
