Summer rains have brought some much-needed relief from the heat to those of us here in the Valley. But in the high country, the monsoon storms have caused massive flooding.

Videos on social media have shown flows of forest debris running like rivers, and even a car floating down a neighborhood street.

And there is the viral video of neighbors watching as a Prius is washed down the road.

Much of the flooding is coming in areas that burned in massive wildfires in the last few years. And it’s putting the city at the center of the climate change debate.

The Show spoke with Adrian Skabelund with the Arizona Daily Sun in Flagstaff more about the situation.
