The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild has helped breweries navigate a rocky business climate caused by the pandemic. Now it's helping workers navigate Arizona’s vaccine program.

PHX Beer Co.'s tap room is usually closed on Mondays. But this Monday, it will open its doors so that workers in the craft beer industry can get vaccinated. Safeway pharmacies will supply more than 350 Johnson & Johnson vaccines for the guild, so that only one dose is necessary.

"You know we’re going to be very excited to hand out these vaccines and see people again for the first time in a long time," said Rob Fullmer, executive director of the guild. "And you know we have to start thinking about the long summer. Consider that no one left the state last year, when they normally do, and it may be a tough time here for a lot of us here who are trying to get our businesses up and running."

The Fox restaurant group recently announced a similar vaccination effort for its employees.
