Arizona State University has announced that it will have in-person and virtual options for its spring commencement on May 3.

In-person celebrations for graduates will occur at an individual college level, ASU said in a statement. These events will be limited to graduates only.

Activities will include the hooding of doctoral candidates. ASU's College of Health Solutions is exploring an outdoor procession for master’s degree and undergraduate students. These events would be limited to graduates only. Final plans will be determined at the college level and announced in the coming days, ASU said.

ASU will also host a virtual university-wide presentation that graduates and their loved ones can watch from anywhere.
