Political Polarization Impacting Us In Both Predictable, Surprising Ways

Politics and, in some cases, society itself have become more polarized over the past few years. In addition to the problems that’s caused for the country as a whole, it’s also had a lot of negative effects on us as individuals: People have lost friends and become estranged from family members over political disagreements.

A new paper in the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing by researchers at ASU and other universities looks into some of the other implications of this polarization.

Pradeep Jacob is a Ph.D. student in ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business is one of the authors, and The Show spoke with him for more about this.
