The Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) is holding its second meeting this morning; the agenda includes discussions on items like hiring staff and attorneys.

This will be the third round of re-drawing legislative and congressional maps since voters took the process away from state lawmakers and gave it to this commission, which is made up of two Republicans, two Democrats and an independent chair.

Erika Neuberg has that role. She’s a psychologist and life coach based in Chandler, and has been a national board chair with AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

The Show spoke with Neuberg and started the conversation by asking if the work of the redistricting commission was a process she’d followed with either of the first two panels.
