ESPN wants to know what allegations the NCAA has levied against the University of Arizona’s men’s basketball program, and the sports network is taking the state Board of Regents to court to get the list.

The allegations stem from the NCAA’s probe of a bribery scandal involving a former UA assistant basketball coach. These accusations were reportedly sent to Tucson in October. ESPN has been asking for months to see them.

The network’s lawsuit said that other schools touched by the same investigation have released the allegations against them.

The Board of Regents replied in court records that UA is the only school in the group whose case is going through a new process that forbids revealing the allegations now.

ESPN’s lawyer wrote back that this assertion is not true.

A Feb. 17 court date has been scheduled for a Maricopa County Superior Court judge to hear evidence.
