Anyone who believed the U.S. was moving toward what some have called a post-racial society has been forced to rethink that over the past four years.

From the election of President Donald Trump to what happened in Charlottesville to the killing of George Floyd and then the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol, it’s clear that racial tension exists every day in all parts of America.

Professor Eddie Glaude of Princeton University has been one of the foremost commentators on racism and racial justice, and he’ll be speaking virtually Jan. 26 to the University of Arizona as part of the Law and Democracy speakers series.

The Show spoke with him for more about the state of racial tension in the nation.
