The Show regularly checks in with the Editorial Board of the Arizona Republic to talk about current issues facing the state and the region — featured in columns on the newspaper’s op-ed pages.

Gov. Doug Ducey was elected six years ago and then easily won reelection in 2018. But the pandemic has seen Ducey face strong criticism from progressives and members of his own Republican Party. And in a weekend column, Bob Robb writes that Ducey also hasn’t followed through on a consistent effort to cut taxes in the state.

The Show spoke with Phil Boas of The Republic for more about the premise of Robb’s column.
