The Show regularly checks in with the editorial board of the Arizona Republic to talk about current issues facing the state and the region — featured in columns on the newspaper’s op-ed pages.

As parents, students and teachers have continued to adjust to a hybrid model of classroom and at-home learning, concerns over “learning loss” have been a constant. In a column over the weekend, Sybil Francis of the Center for Future of Arizona wrote about the promise of innovation to overcome “learning loss” in K-12 schools.

The Show spoke with Phil Boas of the Republic about the premise of Francis’s column.
